The Collection Development Department is responsible for selecting material in all formats for locations in the University of Toronto's central library system and some local campus libraries (that is, Dentistry Library, Engineering and Computer Science Library, Gerstein Science Information Centre, Mathematical Sciences Library, Music Library, Noranda Earth Sciences Library, and Robarts Library). The subject specialists in the department build on current strength and support the teaching and research needs of the university community.
