Library Cards for Faculty & Staff
Faculty and Staff appointed to University of Toronto, Victoria College, St. Michael's College, and Trinity College, and the Toronto School of Theology (TST)
To obtain your TCard, please visit the TCard Office on the 2nd floor of Robarts Library. Bring photo identification and the letter confirming your UTORid and library barcode, issued by the Business Officer in your unit. The TCard Office service hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. On Saturdays, this service is provided by the Reader Registration Desk, located on the lst floor of Robarts Library, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Status-only Faculty (Clinicians and Researchers) from affiliated hospitals
Appointed prior to February 1, 2005:
To obtain your library card and access to the University of Toronto Library's electronic resources, fax or email Reader Registration at 416-971-3131 or reader.reg@utoronto.ca, to provide current address information.
Appointed after February 1, 2005:
For access privileges to the University of Toronto Libraries' electronic resources, please obtain the letter from the Business Officer in your U of T department, containing your UTORid and library barcode.

Research Staff at Affiliated Hospitals
Research assistants working in the affiliated research centres should consult with the research office at their hospital to arrange for access to University Library resources.

Visiting faculty and staff
To obtain your library card, please bring a letter of introduction, from the U of T department in which you are working, as well as photo ID, to the Reader Registration Desk on the 1st floor of Robarts Library. The letter will include the length of your appointment and your departmental address. Reader Registration service hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday. This letter may also be faxed to Reader Registration at 416-971-3131 and a temporary card will be mailed to the address provided in the letter.
Lost or Stolen Card
If your card is lost or stolen, it is advisable to report this information, immediately, to any library. A temporary card can be issued, until you are able to purchase a replacement at Robarts Library. The replacement fee is $12.00 (GST and PST included). Any stored cash value on the card is lost when the card is lost.
