Digital rights for online books and journals
Information about the permitted uses of online library resources is now available through our web site.
If you would like to save, print, or reproduce a copy of material from the online books, journals and other digital
items that are available through the Libraries, you can now check easily to see what you are allowed to do.
Each online item on our websites now displays information about
its permitted uses under our licenses. In our catalogue, look for the Permitted Uses links in search results, and more information about permitted
uses on
detailed records. You will see whether material from each online item may be reproduced in Blackboard and course web pages, and in printed course packs. The information is linked to a page providing a permanent link to the item that may be used anywhere, and more information about the item's license. If we do not yet have the information for the item you are interested in, you will be given a link to request the information.
Permitted Uses information is available through the catalogue, and also from the e-journal and e-resource tabs on the library homepage. Preview it here.
