Data Library collection

DLS identifies and acquires new data files and/or related documentation needed for research and/or teaching. The DLS maintains contacts with other data archives and libraries, and can assist with searching for and getting copies of data resources available elsewhere, either via the Internet or through purchase (the budget permitting).

Maps, GIS, and air photos

The Map Library's holdings range widely in scope and focus and include in excess of 225,000 maps, 4,000 aerial photos, 14,000 atlases and books, 22,000 microforms, and numerous CD-ROMs, GIS software, geospatial data, and aerial photos.

GIS-Data@UTM

The UTM Library provides access and instructional support to a wide variety of geospatial and statistical datasets. The Library has two GIS workstations with a wide array of software including the ArcGIS suite, ArcView, ArcInfo Workstation, and MapInfo. Data packages include SPSS, Shazam, and Excel.
