Associate Members

Associate member organizations can request books and journal articles from a University of Toronto library, or borrow from external libraries by applying through Gerstein or Robarts.

A copyright tariff will be added where applicable

• Search the U of T catalogue for the item, and note the call number.
• Use this form to submit your request. You must have a RACER code.
• Libraries may also request using AMICUS

REQUEST ITEMS, NOT at a University of Toronto Library

UTL will borrow items on your behalf.

You will need your barcode and PIN.

• Register for RACER - once only - to request an item from a library outside U of T.
• Sign on to RACER using your barcode and PIN.
• Submit your request, either by searching the catalogues within RACER, or through 'my account' - 'blank request form'.
• Choose either Robarts or Gerstein as your pickup location.
• There is a $30 fee for each item borrowed or copied from an external library
