Staff Development Committee

A committee of Library Council, we are responsible for initiating and organizing essential job-related development programmes. We also monitor and co-ordinate all broadly based staff development programmes offered in the library to address the education and development needs of all staff.

Who We Are

We meet once a month and committee members come from various staff groups. The current members of the UofT Libraries Staff Development Committee are:

Ex-officio: Scott Hilborn and Edith Sinclair (Co-chair), Library Human Resources
 
Appointed Librarians: Carla Hagstrom, Jack Hang-tat Leong, Gail Nichol (co-chair), Christina Tooulias-Santolin, Jennifer Wentworth

Focus Groups

Focus groups were held in March & April 2009 to assist the Staff Development Committee in planning activities. The purpose of the focus groups was to find out from Library staff their ideas for job-related and personal interest activities sponsored by the Staff Development Committee.
